Description
New Zealand psychedelic pop artist Connan Mockasin and London multi-instrumentalist Devonté Hynes (Blood Orange) wrote and recorded the EP Marfa Myths 001 at the 2015 Marfa Myths festival. The duo spent the week prior to the festival at Marfa Recording Studio. This occasion marked the first collaboration between Connan and Dev. Their week together inspired three new compositions that highlight the unique approach of both artists to pop songwriting. Connan's choral melodies meet Dev's funk in "Feelin' Lovely" and "La Fat Fur," while "Big Distant Crush" presents a golden fusion of their respective talents for crafting heartfelt ballads.Buy Myths 001 at the best price
