Le Piante di Elena

Description

Devianza, flagship artist and label owner, returns to production with the launch of a new series of single-sided vinyl records, each containing only two tracks. The first release is a sonic catharsis emerging from the depths of a generous land, teeming with new seeds ready to sprout. “Le Piante di Elena” is a dreamlike tribute to a primordial world, intact, pure, and still fertile. A tribute to a newborn carrying the most radical values of a necessary humanism: a call to return to nature in its most spiritual and purest form. Devianza seems to be moving toward a higher, more spiritual dimension, where spirituality itself becomes the driving force behind his musical production. The single-sided record opens with “Betullae,” a hypnotic ballad between deep and leftfield, characteristic of Devianza’s sound, but this time enriched with an Indian tonal and modal touch. The forest landscapes are drawn by piano motifs evoking interstellar journeys among birches as far as the eye can see.
