Immature Love Songs functions like a journal, 9 songs that traverse romance and disillusionment, with a naive, sometimes gentle, sometimes dark tone. The album opens with an eponymous song, the cradle of a romantic love story, ranging from the very small to the very grand, like the ups and downs of beautiful romantic tales. Euphoria tells the excitement of creating together, an anthem for bouncing around with our brightest smiles. If the sound of this album reminds us of the sharp guitars of the Pixies and the early albums of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Euphoria ends beautifully with a guitar solo reminiscent of Queen's glam rock. Following this are several character portraits, from the slightly desperate song of the "has-been" As Long As You Do, to the questioning of age and the fear of growing old in She Stays In, tempered by Things Take Time, a cry from the heart, also a nod to Courtney Barnett (things take time, take time) in the form of a 36-second interlude, leading to Wake Up Elise and Song For Loreen, which tell the story of those who have been silent for too long. It concludes with Seven Ways to Say Goodbye and The Wig, humorously and gently marking the end of a cycle where one truly reveals oneself, always with the intention of reflecting both one's shadow and light. With this first album, the band concludes its tour, having performed these tracks in France in 2022 and 2024. A beautiful way to celebrate the end, supported by the Parisian label Le Cèpe records and the promoters Wapa.
