What's For Breakfast? is Dent May's most collaborative album to date. In addition to appearances by Jimmy Whispers and co-writes with Paul Cherry, there are two standout singles featuring Jordana and Pearl & The Oysters. Jordana contributes to the nostalgic song "Coasting on Fumes," which evokes the feeling of being stuck in a rut, while the also nostalgic song "Time Flies When You're Having Fun" is performed by Pearl & The Oysters. "My first album came out nearly 15 years ago, which is why it's essential to bring in other people to keep things interesting," May explains. "I constantly fall in love with music through the eyes of others. This album aims to remind me why I love music."
