The melody begins with the first note of the album This Is Steve, and that's the signature of DELICATE STEVE, aka Steve Marion. An exceptional collaborator, he has notably co-written and worked with David Byrne—his first two albums were even released on Luaka Bop—, Dirty Projectors, tUnE-yArDs, Mac DeMarco, Dr. Dog, and more recently, he’s been playing guitar for Paul Simon on his new album. In addition to self-producing his album, Steve plays all of the musical parts himself. This third album, entirely instrumental, serves as DELICATE STEVE's introduction to the public: ten ballads made of guitar riffs and keyboards, reminiscent of surf rock and progressive rock, as well as some traditional music melodies, all always accompanied by perfectly mastered drumming.
