Boston hardcore band DEFEATER are releasing their new album, Abandoned. Following the common thread of their 4 previous albums, Abandoned is more powerful and uncompromising, driven by new artistic ambition and twists that no one would have suspected. The band delivers as much irreverence as emotional honesty on tracks like "Cowardice" and "Bled Out." "This is the first time that all members of the band have fully participated in the project," said singer Derek Archambault, which allowed DEFEATER to rise to a higher level in terms of discipline and depth.
