WHOOSH !

Description

The editions containing 1 DVD include a discussion between Roger Glover & Bob Ezrin (approx. 1h) during the mixing of "Whoosh!" - filmed in London AND the Hellfest 2017 DVD. For their new album "Whoosh!", Deep Purple have, for the third time, enlisted the services of Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper). The producer invited the band to his home in Nashville, and together they created the most varied album of their collaboration. For this release, the band took different directions, never setting any limits in order to give free rein to their creativity, while returning to their roots and thus restoring meaning to the name Deep Purple for the fans from the very beginning. From the very first track, Ezrin & Deep Purple understood that they were about to create an album that pushes the boundaries of time, while expressing their feelings about the current world and speaking to all generations. In recent years Deep Purple has gradually evolved toward new horizons, intriguing fans who were not yet born when the "Purple machine" dominated the music world. The success of their albums "In Rock" (1970), "Machine Head" (1972) and "Made In Japan" (1973) propelled them among the leaders in terms of concert ticket and album sales worldwide, notably thanks to hits such as the immortal "Smoke On The Water". 'Infinite', the band's 20th studio album released in 2017, became one of their biggest successes, breaking many records in the charts, and confirming the renewed popularity of these hard rock legends, on the eve of the 50th anniversary of their career.
