Slaves & Masters

Description

Slaves and Masters is the thirteenth studio album by Deep Purple, released in 1990. Over the years, the band has undergone many lineup changes. In 1990, its lineup included guitarist Ritchie Blackmore (who had rejoined Deep Purple in 1984 after ten years with Rainbow), vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (former singer of Rainbow), keyboardist and organist Jon Lord, drummer Ian Paice, and bassist Roger Glover. Longtime fans were delighted by Blackmore's return. "King Of Dreams," "The Cut Runs Deep," and "Fire In The Basement" are iconic Deep Purple tracks. Blackmore's guitar solos and Lord's keyboard interventions recall early Deep Purple.
