Description

Decius is made up of brothers Liam and Luke May, founders of Trashmouth Records, as well as Quinn Whalley (Paranoid London/Warmduscher) and the leader of Fat White Family, Lias Saoudi. Those who are listening will have noticed a series of self-produced 12" records in recent years, supported by artists like Daniel Avery, Honey Dijon, Ivan Smagghe, Mike Servito, 2 Many DJs, Moxie, and Erol Alkan. "Decius Vol. I" is a prime entry point into their sordid world - dark, raw, unrefined, and unrepentant. This project spans acid house to disco through a South London filter - from 70s New York bathhouses to 80s Chicago nightclubs, all the way to the Brixton windmill.
