Liminal State/Limited Clear Vinyl

Description

The Swedish punk-rockers with a heavy metal edge are back with their third album! “Liminal State” can be described as a liminal state, the transition between two phases, two places or two realities. An in-between where one is no longer the person one was, but not yet the one one will become. It is precisely the state in which the members of Death By Horse find themselves, or have found themselves since their last album, “Reality Hits Hard” (2019). This album is not a cry for help, it is a cry of joy! It is a way of dealing with the emotional rollercoaster of recent years. Death By Horse dives headfirst into this storm of existential rage, the struggle against toxic patterns, the death of loved ones and wearing a mask of false confidence to hide doubt and self-disgust. It is punk rock with melodic hardcore accents: fast, merciless, with lyrics full of contradictions, disturbing truths, irony and that brutal introspection that has made Death By Horse’s reputation. No sugar-coated façade, no filter: just raw energy and honesty that hurts.
