Recorded in six days in Los Angeles, the album is steeped in lush, enchanting soundscapes, driven by reverberated guitars and Wareham's melancholic voice. Britta Phillips adds harmonies and bass lines, while Gabe Noel's cello brings dramatic depth. Staying true to his spontaneous approach, Kramer prioritizes raw authenticity: "Two takes are better than twenty." Thematically, Wareham explores memory, nostalgia, and existential reflection.
