DEADLETTER: the British alternative band that strikes straight to the heart. DEADLETTER is an alternative group originally from Yorkshire. The band formed in 2020 around three childhood friends: Zac Lawrence (vocals), Alfie Husband (drums) and George Ullyott (bass). Since then, the lineup has undergone several changes and now presents itself as a sextet. Inspired notably by LCD Soundsystem, The Stranglers, Captain Beefheart and Can, DEADLETTER is recognized for its labyrinthine lyrics carried by instrumentations blending alternative rock and indie. In 2024, the band released its debut album, Hysterical Strength, praised by critics. NME described it as "dark and menacing, irresistible and fun" in a four-star review. DEADLETTER now returns with its incredible second album, Existence Is Bliss.
