The Guga Hunters Of Ness
Description
This new Dead Rat Orchestra album was originally the soundtrack to the documentary The Guga Hunters of Ness for the BBC. This documentary follows the journey of ten men from the community of Ness on the Isle of Lewis (Scotland) during a traditional hunt for gannets. Nearly 10 years of existence for this British group that defies conventions, especially on stage, and for this album the trio studied the folk music of this region of the Scottish islands and decided to record in a lightship; perhaps the only studio whose acoustics are subject to the tide. A magical result, between tradition and progress, between folklore and contemporary music.Buy Les chasseurs de guga de Ness at the best price
