« Lover Come Back to Me » is a 1985 single by the English pop group Dead or Alive, produced by Stock Aitken Waterman. It is the second single from their second studio album, Youthquake. The single reached number 11 on the UK Singles Chart, number 3 in South Africa, number 5 in Switzerland, number 21 in Germany, number 13 in Australia, and number 75 on the US Billboard Hot 100.The single generally received positive reviews. Ira Robbins of Trouser Press called it "catchy"[2], while Ned Raggett of AllMusic stated: "When Burns commands at the end of the chorus: 'Kick it right down, right down!', it's as memorable as any mainstream pop track can be."
