Description

The creation of Dead Cross stems from a series of unusual patterns, failed plans, and last-minute musical experiments. Concerts were scheduled long before a single song was written, and fans were there even before a single show took place. The chaos surrounding its creation seems fitting; after all, the band is entirely made up of artists with already established reputations, all of whom are used to passing off their intelligent dissonances as disorder. Comprised of Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer, Misfits, Suicidal Tendencies), Justin Pearson (The Locust, Retox, Head Wound City), Michael Crain (Retox), and Mike Patton (Faith No More, Fantomas, Mr. Bungle), the impressive, extensive, and eclectic list of previous band members playing here would be enough to ensure the rigid ferocity of this music… but a summary isn’t even necessary here. Dead Cross flies on its own wings, with layers of both demonic and brilliant vocals, frantic guitar riffs, and brutal rhythms.
