20 years of official activity come to a close with the death of Fred, the elder of the duo. dDamage has always been a fierce crossover of electro, rock, noise, and hip-hop music. Several world tours with nearly 600 concerts, 8 albums not counting EPs, splits, or film soundtracks. Among their discography, one album is particularly dear to JB, the other half of the duo: Radio Ape, which made dDamage in 2004 the first French band to release an album on Planet-Mu, Mike Paradinas' label, and thus break into the international scene. Then came the time for collaborations. Few bands can boast of having worked with artists from such diverse backgrounds: MF Doom, Bomb the Bass, Young Jeezy, Jon Spencer, and many others. They were particularly proud of having brought together such different people, of having blended all these styles while always maintaining their unique sound. In this crazy whirlwind, one thing had been missing since Radio Ape: to make another album centered on themselves, Fred and JB. It is here today, it will be their last, Brother vs Brother, they did it together until the last note.
