DAYS OF THE NEW II/THE GREEN ALBUM/180g Audiophile Black Vinyl/Includes Insert

Description

Days of the New is the second self-titled studio album by Days of the New, released in 1999 and written, performed, and produced by Travis Meeks. After the first album, the band split up, and with only Matt Taul from the past, the main member of the band, Travis Meeks, surrounded himself with a sea of musicians, including a young Nicole Scherzinger pre-Pussycat Dolls for the backing vocals and even brought in an orchestra. The influential critic from Rolling Stone described the album as "a progress report from an artist in the midst of a dizzying transition." The first single "Enemy" reached #10 on the US Alternative Airplay chart, #10 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks, and the second single "Weapon & The Wound" also reached #10 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks.
