The multi-instrumentalist singer has been capturing the pulses of the world for two decades and translating them into his musical Creole. A 'mixed language' based on folk (roots) and electronic beats. Two years after Soul Tropical, he took his time, his allies, and found his tone, his softness. Here he reveals himself and declares his Ti Love. Ti Love by David Walters explores love, loss, and resilience, inspired by the saying "Lose and win without straying from oneself" by Oxmo Puccino. The album, rooted in Martinican culture, blends afro-funk, reggae, and disco and is born after the loss of his mother. Composed in Fort-de-France, with collaborations from producers like Guts and Bluestaeb, it reflects a quest for truth and letting go. After three years of work, the album concludes with two symbolic farewells: to a love and to his mother, embodying inner peace.
