On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of these releases, Yatak Records is issuing new remastered editions of David Moss’s landmark albums Dense Band (1985) and Full House (1984). With these records, Moss created a singular sonic universe at the crossroads of noise, improvisation, groove, and experimental song structures. Thanks to meticulous, richly detailed remastering, these works now regain a new vitality. While Dense Band combines raw energy with surprisingly danceable rhythms, Full House reveals the full radicalism of the duo format through short, explosive sound studies. These two reissues bear witness to an era when music was being profoundly reinvented - wild, visionary, and, even today, remarkably vital.
