David Chalmin has so far been a very discreet, hyperactive individual. A talented producer and sound engineer, he has notably recorded the last three albums by Matt Elliott as well as the very recent The Third Eye Foundation, where he acted as arranger, and the latest albums by Shannon Wright, The National, Angélique Ionatos, Gaspar Claus, Katia and Marielle Labèque, Richard Reed Parry, and Efterklang. His repertoire spans effortlessly from rock to avant-garde, classical, and contemporary music. For his first album, "la terre invisible," he reveals himself as an unparalleled electronic music composer and a formidable producer.
