The width of a circle

Description

The Man Who Sold The World, the first album by David Bowie released in the 1970s, marks the collaboration with guitarist Mick Ronson, which would continue with the essential Hunky Dory, Ziggy Stardust, and Aladdin Sane. It also signals the beginning of a decade of extraordinary recordings up to Scary Monsters, in 1980. Renamed Metrobolist, the first title considered for the album, the reissue of The Man Who Sold The World remastered by its original producer Tony Visconti was released in 2020. Named after the opening track of the album, inspired by the name of a painting by George Underwood, a friend of David Bowie, The Width Of A Circle is a complement to Metrobolist.
