The Shel Talmy Recordings is a new compilation that brings together the most complete collection of tracks recorded in 1965 by the young David Bowie (then known as Davie Jones) and the legendary 60s producer, Shel Talmy. The album includes ten unreleased songs. It features contributions from Jimmy Page, the iconic guitarist of the Yardbirds and Led Zeppelin, as well as Nicky Hopkins, the famous pianist for the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, the Who, and Jeff Beck. The compilation includes unreleased compositions and alternative takes, as well as tracks like "You’ve Got A Habit Of Leaving" and "Baby Loves That Way," which were originally released as singles on Parlophone and were re-recorded by Bowie and his Glastonbury band for the album TOY, which was finally released in 2021.
