F.O.A.D.

Description

In 2007, the Norwegian black metal legends Darkthrone, Fenriz and Nocturno Culto, released F.O.A.D. ("Fuck Off & Die"), a dirty and savage rock album, the successor to the classic The Cult Is Alive (2006). Self-produced and mixed at Necrohell 2 Studio, the album moves away from primitive black metal to explore a broader rock-metal sound, while remaining true to the duo's roots. With tracks full of rage and raw energy, F.O.A.D. embodies rebellion against the polished sounds of the era.The cover, created by Dennis Dread, reinforces the album's raw and provocative aesthetic. As Fenriz summed it up, the album "sounds like a war between Atlantis and the rest of the planet!"
