Dan Friel (founding member of Parts & Labor)'s debut release on Thrill Jockey, the EP "Valedictorian/Exoskeleton" features two new tracks accompanied by two remixes, one by Moss of Aura (Gerrit Welmers of Future Islands) and the other by Peaking Lights. This EP, which prefaces a new album due in 2013, will include three exclusive tracks. The record opens with an adrenaline-fueled explosion, a track of pure pop with added noise. The original version of the final (remixed) track will appear on "Total Folklore," the upcoming new album.
