Dälek is reissuing their groundbreaking 1998 album with six bonus tracks and a 12-page booklet, enriched with notes from John Morrison and never-before-seen illustrations by Mikel Elam and Paul Romano. Upon its release, "Negro Necro Nekros" disrupted the conventions of hip-hop as the mainstream integrated into pop culture. Emerging from the East Coast underground scene of the 90s, Dälek fused hardcore hip-hop with noise and a radical sonic approach. Drawing inspiration from Public Enemy, as well as My Bloody Valentine and Faust, the group brought new dimensions to rap music. Since then, Dälek has produced seven studio albums and numerous collaborations, marking their place in the history of experimental hip-hop.
