Here's The Dahmers' third album, "Creature Feature," and the band continues to explore a dark and unsettling world, populated by strange, provocative, disturbing, and even repulsive elements. "Our vision has always been to explore and develop the band's sound, while preserving its deep and rich essence. We want listeners to be transported by the album, to travel to another planet and forget their worries for a moment," explains Christoffer Karlsson (vocalist/guitarist). The album was recorded and co-produced by Johan Gustafsson, aka "The Johan and only" from the band The Hives, at Ingrid Studio in Stockholm. The production, enriched by the presence of guest musicians on certain tracks, offers a new dimension. The use of instruments like brass, cello, flute, and piano allows the songs to reach their full potential, while the addition of synthesizers brings a fresh touch. The album offers a wide variety of tracks, each with its own theme, sound, and characteristics. It explores deep subjects like darkness, sadness, and alienation, while continuing to pay homage to classic 70s and 80s horror and giallo films. There are also songs about a Swedish fakir, cults, rats, and extraterrestrial creatures. This album is a celebration of trash culture and outcasts, all carried by an infectious and positive chorus, a hallmark of The Dahmers.
