A collective tribute to Frank Darcel, iconic figure of Rennes rock.Founding figure of emblematic bands such as Marquis de Sade, Senso, Octobre, Republik and Marquis, mentor to young Étienne Daho and Pascal Obispo, Frank Darcel is inseparable from the vibrant Rennes rock scene of the 70s and 80s. For many, he alone embodies this bold and innovative musical movement.His sudden and brutal passing now leaves an immense void. Da Viken then brought together the early companions: Étienne Daho, Pascal Obispo, Richard Dumas, Marquis, Christian Dargelos (who initiated the project) as well as many friends and fellow artists: Alan Stivell, Étienne Grandjean, Jérôme Soligny, Jeanne Bonjour, Tchewsky & Wood, Dynamite Shakers and many others.A collective tribute in which each artist reinterprets the songs of Frank Darcel (author, composer, performer and producer) to make his legacy resonate with personality and emotion.
