The new album by CUT COPY is influenced by the two "summer of love" events that marked music: the one in the US in the 70s and the one in post-Thatcher England. Influenced by club culture, the Australian quartet discovered a portal to the UK acid house movement from the thriving underground dance community in Melbourne, their hometown, where a 90s revival has been ongoing for several months.
