A few albums, tours, a live album to immortalize it all, collaborations with Dimitri from Paris or Di Melo, changes in the lineup, a split or even a reunion... a lot can happen in fifteen years in the life of a band. Fifteen years is the time Cotonete has spent making its mark on bars, venues, and festivals. Walls cracked by an absolute groove jazz-funk, stages scorched by an incandescent brass section, humidity levels fueled by Brazilian warmth, no shirt came out unscathed. Happy far from the studios, but convinced by recent successful experiences with maxi singles and EPs, Cotonete has chosen to tackle the king format of the album head-on. Their first album, fifteen years after their debut.
