Cosmic Hypnotic is a new lush exotica ensemble, led by multi-instrumentalist Andy Catlin. Vibraphones, bongos, and velvety arrangements evoke the golden age of lounge, all while transporting us into a psychedelic reverie. Surrounded by a constellation of collaborators with shifting influences – including Matt Wood, Sam Cooper, BenLau, and the mystical saxophonist Saxsquatch – the band merges classic tiki instrumentation with hypnotic, shimmering grooves.
