Re:works

Description

Re:works is an ambitious and revolutionary project that will undoubtedly make an event. The album opens the rich catalog of Decca Classics recordings to some of today's most innovative electronic music artists. The great works of composers such as Erik Satie, Bach, Rachmaninov, Beethoven, and Reich have been reworked and recomposed by internationally renowned DJs like Sébastien Tellier, Henrik Schwarz, Martin Buttric, Mr Scruff, and Kate Simko. Each one thus leaves their mark and sensitivity on one or several well-known classics. The 'Reworkers' will present their new works to their respective audiences by incorporating them into their traditional DJ sets. This album, also released in the form of 2 LPs pressed on 180 grams, will undoubtedly shake the world of classical music and breathe new life into the greatest timeless standards in versions that are resolutely modern, bridging the music of our time and the masterpieces of the past.
