Nathan Johnson, singer and songwriter, born in Washington (1976). His songs have won several awards for composition and have been featured in independent films, the score "Brick" "perhaps the most striking soundtrack of the year.." wrote Chicago Tribune. Nathan Johnson was named Independent Artist by Times Texas Music in January 2008, and took 2nd place in the prestigious Dallas BW Song Stevenson contest in June 2008. His song The Feeling IGot (2007) was played on all radios, over 300 colleges and AAA radio stations, MTV in the spring of 2009. South Carolina, the title of his first album, was played in the soap opera "As The World Turns" in November 2009. He performed on the main stage of "Chevy Main Stage of Texas" for four consecutive years, and played throughout regional showcases at a wide range of venues, events, outdoor festivals. Nathan Johnson is the founder of The Cinematic Underground, an art-pop collective that combines storytelling and graphic novel-style illustrations with live performances. Nathan gathered many actors to create a live touring show. In the spring of 2006, The Cinematic Underground toured thirty-five cities across the United States with its production, Annasthesia.
