Description

For nearly ten years, the story of Com Truise has been rooted in science fiction and the abstract. Seth Haley's unique style is nostalgic and meditative, questioning his own existence. His 2017 album, Iteration, completed a conceptual space saga, also reflecting the changes in the life of the producer and designer. With Persuasion System, Haley wipes the slate clean and creates a new era for himself, marked by change – both personal and global. The project began as an experiment. Haley changed his digital workstation, built a new sound palette, and challenged himself to try new things. This exercise allowed him to free himself from his own expectations and those of others, drawing inspiration from his immediate environment. A sense of gravity is now felt in the artist's work, with shifting emotions between gloom and excitement, wonder tinged with dread at the idea of existence, looking back at the past and then letting it go. It is this duality between melancholy and optimism, between the past and the present, that runs through Persuasion System.
