The artist, with all the gentleness and tenderness that characterize her, uses a piano, a voice, and words of striking emotion to express what inspires her about humanity, capable of both the worst and the best. "Monstres" is a small opening onto a dense debut album, rich in emotions, strong in contrasts, and powerful in sound. A musical universe of 13 songs, including 2 already revealed by the EP ("On m’a dit" and "Se dire au revoir") and one that appeared on Molitor's Album 3 ("Ton nom"). In the 9 other unreleased tracks, Coline Rio explores all the shades of emotions that inhabit her: setting off for another life ("Elle laisse"), maternal attachment ("Ma mère"), peaceful and benevolent feminism ("Homme"), grief ("A celui qu’on n’oublie pas"), the burden of the past that prevents moving forward ("Regarde danser"), the joy provided by nature ("La rivière"), the fear of emptiness and death ("Disparaître"), physical communion ("Cartographie"), or finally, the memories of a life that make us who we are ("Ce qu’il restera de nous"). This very last song, which closes the album, gave it its name.
