Ivan Pavlov, also known as CoH, a Russian musician and producer residing in Sweden, characterizes his new solo project, Radiant Faults, as "the recording of a dialogue," rather than a collection of compositions. Created with the help of a rare new synthesizer, the Silhouette Eins, Pavlov's first encounter with the instrument during a long night session resulted in a continuous set of textures, patterns, and subliminal melodies. As a long-time member of Coil's inner circle, Ivan is steeped in the ideology and influence of ELpH. ELpH is the name coined by Coil to refer to a "celestial entity" that emanates from electronic equipment at mysterious moments, unexpectedly altering the creative process.
