"How to Build a Maze" is Cocoanut Groove's second album. Led by Olov Antonsson, it's the first one truly recorded as a band, the first album, "Madeleine Street" (2008), being essentially a solo project. The Swedish Antonsson's music draws its inspiration from baroque pop, the folk of Vashti Bunyan and Nick Drake, and the guitar pop of The Smiths and The Clientele. "A perfect encounter between Jacco Gardner's vintage obsessions and Belle And Sebastian's melodic clarity, with that touch of emotion that hits home ("But we count the stars, just like in a song by The Zombies" on "Night Walk"), Cocoanut Groove deserves more than a fleeting listen."
