This reissue finally brings to light an ultra-rare reggae album released in 1974, often considered the very first true "lovers" reggae album. Conceived by producer Clement Bushay and singer Carl Bert, it blends soulful softness, romantic harmonies, and deeply roots reggae rhythms. The record features several major figures from the British and Jamaican reggae scene, including The Cimarons, Jackie Parris, Junior English, and Dego Sensation. The recordings also benefit from the studio work of Lee Perry, an essential legend of dub and reggae. This new edition includes four previously unreleased tracks from the original sessions, offering a valuable insight into a pioneering work that helped define the foundations of lovers reggae and its unique blend of romance and Jamaican groove.
