Les refrains populaires

Description

Between 1972 and 1975, Claude François was at the height of his fame. He dominated the hit parades of the time with a unique flair for churning out one hit after another. These songs were either adaptations of foreign tracks that he discovered before anyone else (Bélinda, Le mal aimé, Soudain il ne reste qu'une chanson, Sha La La, Une fille et des fleurs), or original compositions created with the help of a solid gold team (J.P Bourtayre, P.Juvet) to produce powerful tracks whose choruses are still popular 50 years after their release (Le lundi au soleil, Le téléphone pleure, Chanson populaire). This compilation, which includes only hits, was exclusively designed for vinyl with a superb cover paying homage to a legendary album by the King.
