Circus

Description

Called and united by Calogero, they are five: five confirmed musicians / singers. At the origin of CIRCUS, this pop group, this rock troupe, is the triple friendship of Philippe Uminski/Calogero/Stanislas. The three guys were impressed by two multi-instrumentalist singers, Karen Brunon and Elsa Fourlon, and brought them into a crazy project: to form a colorful troupe in the land of pop music. About their music, CIRCUS talks about "Fellini rock," as if to say that anything is possible and, above all, that everything is allowed, the most sought-after tonal extravagances as well as the slimiest synths. In the end, thirteen songs written and performed collectively with the help of lyricist Marie Bastide and a few friends (Jean-Jacques Goldman, Dominique A, Gioacchino, Marc Lavoine, Grégory Jacques, or even Benjamin Biolay). A gift-wrapped album, filled with smiling choruses, great harmonic tides, and carousel songs.
