Description

Ciccio & 2mo have been developing a unique musical language for over ten years, born from the encounters between two atypical paths. Olivier Demeaux (Heimat, Cheveu, Accident du Travail) explores abrasive electro, with albums released on Teenage Menopause and Bruit Direct, while Francesco Pastacaldi (Jean-Louis, Abacaxi) comes from a free and percussive jazz-punk background. Their first album 24 96, resulting from improvised sessions, was released in 2020 by The Trilogy Tapes, followed by a concert recorded at Café OTO (Maremoto). They continue their live performances up to the Meakusma Festival, which releases Live at Meakusma Festival 2024. In 2025, they record Bouc & Rouages with three guests: Léa Trommenschlager, Bianca Iannuzzi, and Pauline Sampler. The result: a dense, organic, and hypnotic sound material. Blending noise psychedelia, industrial tension, and pop pulsations, Ciccio & 2mo carve out an unstable and visceral groove. Imagine Cosey Fanni Tutti flirting with pop, accompanied by Charles Hayward on drums.
