Advanced release date of January 17 instead of the initially planned January 24. Christophe is a dreamer, a glider. Fifty years of that. So when it comes to revisiting his repertoire with guests – the classic 'Album de duos' (Duets Album) – Christophe pauses his flight. To the point of spending nearly 2 years on 'Christophe Etc.'. Divided into two feature films, two volumes, Christophe Etc therefore welcomes guests whose only commonality is French chanson. Once the songs were recorded, Christophe, like a tailor-producer, worked on the hems, adjusted the folds, placed his voice in the interstices until these tracks sounded just right. This is what's called 'ready-to-sing', never out of fashion, always ahead of its time even when it's about revisiting the past. A hallmark that makes this 'Etc' more than just a stylistic exercise.
