“Are you free?” Three very simple words, yet they call for a multitude of answers. “Are you free?” That is the question Christophe Willem has asked himself, and asks us without detour, through his seventh album. And this has been the case since his beginnings on La Nouvelle Star and the power of a first single that became a classic, “Double je,” which already sounded like a powerful affirmation of self. “Systaime,” the album’s first excerpt, gave us a powerful pop preview. With “La Colère,” the tension rises a notch: a liberating track, where everything we have built up inside is expelled. A necessary fever, driven by muscular synths, over which Christophe’s voice knows how to blend softness and intensity. For this anger is not there to destroy, but to set us free. “Are you free?” will be released on November 27, before giving way to a tour starting in February 2026, followed by a Zénith tour in the fall, which will end at the Accor Arena on December 9, 2027.
