4 years after the release of her first album "Chaleur Humaine" sold over 1.3 million copies worldwide (including over 850,000 in France), Christine and the Queens, awarded 4 Victoires de la Musique (Female Artist of the Year, Concert and 2 music videos), is back on September 21 with "Chris," her 2nd album. A global comeback that started on May 18 with the first single "Damn, dis-moi": the most played track on French radio in the first half of 2018 (source Yacast) and illustrated by a series of event TV appearances: France 2/ guest on the news plateau + Fête de la Musique, TF1/ Song of the Year & TMC/ Quotidien. "Chris," written entirely in French, but also in English for its international version, is an album more up tempo than its predecessor, with impeccable, clean, and refined sound. An album where classic pop tracks & irresistible songs like "La marcheuse," "L'étranger," or "5 dols" coexist with funkier tracks ("Damn, dis-moi," "Doesn't Matter"). A punchy minimalist sound inspired by G Funk, Cameo, the innovative sampling of Michael Jackson in the album "Dangerous," and Serge Gainsbourg's last album "Love On the Beat."
