Parallels : Shellac reworks

Description

Melancholic, ethereal and impactful, Christian Löffler’s music elegantly blends Techno, Ambient and acoustic music, giving the DJ and producer a unique place in the electronic music landscape. For PARALLELS : SHELLAC REWORKS, Löffler has reappropriated some of Deutsche Grammophon’s earliest recordings, the Shellac records recorded in the 1920s and 1930s, giving a second life to these original century-old recordings. Christian Löffler selected from these recently digitized recordings a collection ranging from Bach to Bizet, giving new resonance to the scores of these great composers. After a first EP released in November 2020 and dedicated to Beethoven’s works, commemorating the composer’s 250th anniversary, the album release is announced for February 2021.
