Chris Carter presents his new album, his first solo release in 17 years, titled *Chris Carter's Chemistry Lessons Volume One*, due out on March 30th via Mute. As a founding member of Throbbing Gristle, one half of Chris & Cosey, and one third of Carter Tutti Void, Chris Carter has played a significant role in the development of electronic music. This is not even counting his solo projects or those on which he has collaborated. On *Chris Carter's Chemistry Lessons Volume One*, we find insistent melodic patterns and a strong sense of wonder at the limitless possibilities of science.
