The American songwriter and singer, Marc Anthony Thompson, known as Chocolate Genius, is back after Swansongs, his fourth album released in 2010 on No Format. This new album marks a new beginning for Marc Anthony Thompson, who had announced the end of Chocolate Genius. He has found a new way to make his music. For the first time in his career, he did not enter a studio to record the album. He composed songs like a craftsman or as he would have done for his diary, and recorded them alone at home, playing all the instruments. The label No Format! decided to release these tracks as they are, in the truth and the beauty of the epiphany, of the inspiration at the moment they were shaped. These twelve songs resemble what Chocolate Genius Inc has always done: that is to say, they only resemble him, and they reflect all the richness and variety of his inspiration. They hover and float between genres and references.
