A collective of DJs, producers and filmmakers, CHINESE MAN RECORDS is back in full force on April 1st with Groove Sessions Vol. 2, the successor to Groove Sessions Vol. 1 (10,000 copies sold in less than a year). Oscillating between funk, instrumental hip-hop, dub and world music, at times evoking TROUBLEMAKERS, DJ KRUSH or WAX TAYLOR, CHINESE MAN's musical productions have been compiled several times, have been synced (Mercedes advertising campaign), and the collective also has a handful of notorious collaborations to its credit (directing BJÖRK's "Innocence" music video, remixing FEMI KUTI, remix by DJ SANDRINHO).
