Description

On my right, Cheveu, a French trio that continues to shake things up by inventing a soundtrack that pushes the boundaries of many genres. On my left, Group Doueh, a Saharan combo that leaps over the borders of styles, striking the tradition with unprecedented discoveries. At the heart of the stakes, a sound clash between two universes located light-years apart in the musical galaxy. Two ways of living music daily, two ways of transmitting, two ways of enchanting, or not, the world, two relationships to the repertoire, to tradition, to creation, two visions of the collective; the list is long of what could have initially made it seem that they would never meet, that they would not understand each other. This record was like a somewhat surreal challenge, an almost impossible mission, where time would matter. The result: a tectonic big bang, an atomic creation, a story of "primitive" energies that resets the clocks of the Tout-Monde. Hear two understandings of time that are so different.
