Her name is Wally Coover. A model, she was on the cover of Life magazine and Richard Avedon photographed her for a now-iconic portrait. Wally rested her head against Chet Baker's, and Melvin Sokolsky took the photo, which became the highly iconic and romantic cover image of the album Chet. There is another even more beautiful shot, where the two protagonists have their eyes closed.
