Chelsea Wolfe's 7th full-length album. Chelsea Wolfe has always been a powerful vessel for potent energy, and while she has proven her ability to channel this dark beauty in various forms, there is a core element to Chelsea Wolfe's music—a kind of urgency in American desolation blues—that has existed throughout her career. Longtime musical collaborator Ben Chisholm recorded the songs and helped to enrich them with his modern production treatments, along with occasional contributions from Jess Gowrie (drums) and Ezra Buchla (viola). "These songs came to me in a whirlwind and I knew I had to record them quickly, and I also really needed a break from the road," Wolfe explains. "I've spent these last few years searching for the feeling of being home, looking for places that felt like home." The result of this humble approach is Wolfe's most devastating work to date.
